DOMINIC TERRIER
WELCOME, ladies and gentlemen NIKE PRO COMBAT and to COMBAT VII: Pelear Hasta la Muerte, coming to you LIVE from the Arena Cuidad in Mexico CityMexico... I’m Dominic Terrier, and sitting beside me is my esteemed colleague and life-long friend, Emil Goldwyn.

EMIL GOLDWYN
And you would not believe the show we have in store for you tonight! One of our largest shows to date, Pelear Hasta la Muerte will feature an assortment of contests to continue determine how we will move forward in our World’s and Women’s Divisions as we head into the home stretch of the Homecoming Tour and approach the Finale of Season One.

DOMINIC TERRIER
We’ll start off with the last place Gunner, who has zero points, taking on Christian Ibanez, whose only victory in the Series is an impressive success against Takeo Takahashi. Speaking of Takahashi, the Gladiator will take on former Number One Contender Tyler Morgan to break their tie in the Homecoming Series standings.

EMIL GOLDWYN
Not to be outdone, the man Takeo defeated in AtlantaArata Asakura, will take on Matt Miles for the first time. This is the bout i’m looking most forward to, truth be told, as both Combatants are impressive competitors with killer instincts and the conviction to win out here in the tournament.

DOMINIC TERRIER
After those two elite fighters put their strengths on display, we will crown the next Number One Contender to the NIKE PRO Women’s Championship in a No Holds Barred contest out of which our Commissioner promises there will be a victor. The first two women to hold the title, Liz Karlson and Ana Somnia respectively, will face off for the third time, with Somnia holding the edge with one win and one draw to Karlson’s one loss and one draw.

EMIL GOLDWYN
That one is pretty much guaranteed to be bloody, isn’t it, Dom? After our next contender is crowned, the final Homecoming Series bout of the evening will pit the undefeated, first-place Kevin Harris against the quickly rising Jay O’Neil.

DOMINIC TERRIER
That one could truly go either way, don’t you think? Both men have legitimate claims to being the odds on favorite in this Series.

EMIL GOLDWYN
And in our final two Combats of the evening, NIKE PRO World’s Champion Hana Nakajima will look to follow up her impressive victory over Ana Somnia by defending her title against the ruthless and sultry Chloé Leuthard in singles action!

DOMINIC TERRIER
And the object of Leuthard’s admiration of late, NIKE PRO World’s Champion Jon Jrygin, will defend his title yet again, this time against the man from whom he won the title in the first place, Shane Holliday.

EMIL GOLDWYN
Don’t be surprised if that one ends up the Fight of the Night, Dom! That’s all the fights on tonight’s card, ladies and gentlemen, and we are SO excited to get things underway, so that’s exactly what we’re going to do… Right now.

OPENING COMBAT
Singles Combat | Homecoming Series
CHRISTIAN IBANEZ (2) v. GUNNER (0)

DING! DING! DING!

The bell rings and Gunner immediately charges forward, levelling Ibanez with a shotgun dropkick to send him into the corner. Ibanez’s head hits the turnbuckle on the hit, and he seems dazed. Gunner kips up and charges, hitting a step up enzuigiri. Ibanez hits the ground and rolls over, and Gunner hits a standing moonsault. He picks Ibanez up, planting him with a Lifting DDT. Gunner lifts Ibanez up, whipping him to the ropes and catching him with the Rise Blue Thunder Bomb on the rebound. Gunner runs opposite to the ropes and comes back with a slingblade. He climbs the ropes, staring out into the crowd, before jumping off and hitting him with a Moonstomp. He rolls Ibanez over, traps his arm and locks in a crossface.

TAP! TAP! TAP!

Ibanez taps, and Gunner gets a quick submission victory in a great showing for the young rookie.

DING! DING! DING!

LUIS RAFFERTY : “Ladies and gentlemen, the official in charge of this contest has called this fight at the four minutes and six seconds mark… Here is your winner by way of submission and earning THREE POINTS in the Homecoming Series... GGGUUUUNNNNNNEERRRR!

We leave the arena, to see live satellite footage of a private plane coming to a halt at the Mexico City International Airport. As it's engines shut off, a limousine pulls up onto the runway, positioning itself near the door directly behind the cockpit. It opens to reveal a set of stairs, followed by an attendant in a suit, who opens the door of the limousine, beckoning the plane's passengers to come. First out steps Jon Jrygin, with his NIKE PRO World’s Championship over his shoulder. Jon looks out into the heat, and wastes no time in hustling down the stairs and into the limo. Jon wears the same black and red ring gear seen on IBW’s special Sunday edition of Friday Night Collision, with a matching bruise to boot from Predator Parker attacking him. As Jon steps into the limousine, Ana Somnia steps out into the setting Mexican sun. As the night sky turns black, the expression on her face matches it. Ana has a deep scowl set, as she walks down the steps with her IBW World Championship around her waist and ALPHA Women’s Championship over her shoulder. She pushes past the attendant and slams the door of the limousine behind her. The limo speeds off into the distance, racing to make the show.

LOWER MIDCARD
Singles Combat | Homecoming Series
TAKEO TAKAHASHI (4) (w/ YUNA YUTANI) v. TYLER MORGAN (4)

DING! DING! DING!

Our second bout of the evening begins in earnest when Tyler Morgan charges across the ring and clubs Takeo Takahashi over the head right off the bat. With Morgan’s near-thirty-pound weight advantage, the force knocks Takeo backward almost all of the way to the ropes. Takahashi reaches out and presses one hand against the top rope to prevent himself from continuing further, and when Morgan comes sprinting in to capitalize, Takeo ducks and side-steps, leading to Tyler turning around and finding himself mere inches from the turnbuckles with his back to the corner. He yanks backward on the top rope on either side of him to further propel himself forward, ducking down in search of a Spear! BUT TAKEO LEAPS UP AND DELIVERS A DOUBLE FOOT STOMP TO THE BACK OF THE LUNGING MORGAN! In doing so, Takeo vaults upward and lands with a foot on the middle rope on either side of the second turnbuckle. Morgan hastens back to his feet and turns around RIGHT INTO TAKEO FLIPPING BACKWARD OFF OF THE MIDDLE ROPE AND DELIVERING A DRAGON SLEEPER BACKBREAKER OUT OF MID-AIR! He immediately follows this by pulling Morgan up to his feet before DRAGGING HIM BACKWARD INTO A LUNGBLOWER! The fans boo Takahashi as he climbs back to his feet, watching as he pulls Tyler up off of the mat and tosses him back-first into the corner. Approaching his foe, Takeo unleashes a series of chops into Tyler’s chest, each louder than the last, until Morgan’s chest is red, almost bruised. Here, Takeo backs up a step or two before twisting in and SLICING ACROSS MORGAN’S CHEST ONE LAST TIME WITH THE FINAL PIECE OF THE CHĒNSŌCHOPPU! With Morgan stunned here, Takahashi races over to the opposite corner, pauses, and CHARGES BACK ACROSS THE RING IN SEARCH OF THE FAKKU O DAMARA APPĀKATTO! BUT TYLER SHOOTS OUT OF THE CORNER AND INTERCEPTS TAKEO WITH A SPEAR THAT TURNS HIM INSIDE-OUT!

Yuna Yutani grimaces at ringside and turns to look away, not wanting to see the anguish on Takeo’s face. Tyler takes a mere moment to regain his composure before pulling Takahashi up off of the canvas and grabs him behind the neck to display great strength in THROWING HIM LIKE HE’S WEIGHTLESS ACROSS THE RING, forcing him to crash back-first against the turnbuckles in the near corner. From here, the Emerald City Elite wastes no time in pressing his shoulder against Takeo’s gut and hoisting him up to seat him on the top turnbuckle. Subsequently, Tyler holds the top rope to steady his ascent to a stance on the middle rope, applying a Front Facelock as he prepares for his signature Superplex! Tyler goes to lift one leg up to the top rope— KIRĀ ZUTSŪ! CRACK! Morgan’s eyes roll into the back of his head and he nearly drops like dead weight off of the ropes, but Takeo grabs him before he can and applies a Front Facelock of his own. DESUDOROPPU! Morgan implodes on impact and Takahashi rolls away to recover a bit, knowing he needs to capitalize sooner than later. Yuna slaps the apron to motivate the Kentōshi, and it seems to work as Takahashi gets back up to his feet and stalks Morgan, who is on hands and knees in the middle of the ring. He charges forward and LEAPS INTO THE AIR IN SEARCH OF THE DORAGONSUREIYĀ! BUT MORGAN LAUNCHES TAKEO SKYWARD WITH EVERYTHING HE HAS LEFT! EMERALD CITY KICK OUT OF MID-AIR! HOW?! Morgan collapses as Takeo’s corpse hits the mat like a bag of dirt, and after a moment of recovery Tyler climbs back to a vertical base. He shakes free of cobwebs and pulls Takeo up off of the mat before underhooking both arms, CALLING FOR SWEET SEATTLE!

EMIL GOLDWYN
Wait a minute... That’s not the theme music for any Combatant on our roster, is it, Dom?

DOMINIC TERRIER
No, Emil! That’s the theme song for former ALPHA World Heavyweight Champion Dante Payne!

Morgan drops the limp body of Takeo Takahashi to the mat and turns toward the stage, roaring in anger as he waits for his Break or Be Broken opposition to show himself. Soon enough, however, nobody walks out on stage and Morgan curses at Dante as if he had, turning back to reapply his focus to Takahashi. KOGANE NO CHINMOKU OUT OF FUCKING NOWHERE! Morgan hits the mat and just as soon as he hit the canvas he finds Takeo dragging him up into an Inverted Facelock. SPINNING INVERTED FACELOCK ELBOW DROP BACKBREAKER! REVERSED STO! Takahashi swings his legs up and over, twisting around so as to put Tyler on his back so as to LOCK HIM INTO AN ANACONDA VICE! THE SILENCER! But Morgan is completely unconscious at this point and the referee has no choice but to call for the bell!

DING! DING! DING!

LUIS RAFFERTY : “Ladies and gentlemen, the official in charge of this contest has called this fight at the twelve minutes and thirty-seven seconds mark… Here is your winner by way of submission and earning THREE POINTS in the Homecoming Series... TAAAKKKEEEOOOO... TAAAKKKAAAHHHAAAAAASSSHHHIIIII!

Yuna climbs into the ring hoists one hand of Takahashi into the air as the official in charge lifts the other. Takeo roars in triumph, having taken down yet another staple of the ICW universe in consecutive opportunities. We briefly fade to a commercial break as Tyler wakes up and slowly rolls out of the ring.

We return from a brief word from our sponsors to find ourselves backstage, just behind Gorilla Position. A sweaty Tyler Morgan limps gingerly through the space and outstretches an arm to lean against the wall without collapsing, still slightly dazed from the loss. He looks around and fails to locate Dante Payne and roars in frustration, toppling a stack of chairs down and creating a loud din that attracts the attention of many backstage personnel. From here, he seems to have gained a second wind and charges forward to send a hard kick through one of the lower monitors, shattering the screen and sending glass shards everywhere. This is not the end, however, and he grabs one of the elevated monitors, ripping it off of its foundation and tossing it screen-first into the floor. Anger surges through his body as he screams directly into the faces of any passersby, demanding the whereabouts of Dante Payne to no avail. When one of the employees tries to explain he isn’t even in the building, Tyler grabs the employee by the collar and pulls him in eye-to-eye before shoving him aggressively into a wall, the back of the employee’s skull smacking the surface with a painful thunk. Before he can dole out any further damages, Tyler finds a voice piercing the air and demanding his attention.

What the FUCK do you think you’re doing?!

Tyler turns around to find an irate Archibald Rensselaer standing before him, a vein bulging from his forehead in anger. Tyler goes to open his mouth to explain himself but Archie cuts him off.

Go hit the showers, get your shit, and GET OUT OF THIS BUILDING... I don’t want to see your face again tonight, Tyler… And while we’re at it? While we’re at it I don’t want to see your face again in the Homecoming Series. This kind of behavior is NOT going to be tolerated of someone trying to earn a place in the main event at the finale next month… You are hereby SUSPENDED INDEFINITELY!

Tyler advances toward Archibald and gets right in his face, but Rensselaer does not flinch at all, so Tyler, with his upper lip twitching, turns and storms off into the distance, allowing our show to fade into its next segment.

ARATA ASAKURA (3) v. MATT MILES (3)

DING! DING! DING!

Our two combatants, their first time squaring off, begin staring each other down. Both need this victory to ensure they remain competitive in the Homecoming Series, and both want this more than ever. Arata maintains stoic intensity while Matt talks smack to the Golden Dragon. The bell rings and we are underway. It begins with Arata going for a lockup, but Matt ducks low. Arata moves onto the defensive, but Matt fakes him out and laughs. Matt then goes for the lockup, then tries to sneak a toe kick out of nowhere. Arata expects it and knocks it down, then follows with a spinning back elbow. Matt ducks the elbow and pushes Arata into the ropes. They remain locked, so the ref makes Matt break the hold. Matt backs up, then slaps Arata across the face, enraging the Self-Made Man. Arata beckons Matt to do it again, but Matt simply laughs and beckons Arata to do the same. They lock up, and Arata goes to whip Matt. Matt counters with an irish whip of his own, and goes to hip toss Arata on the rebound. Arata rolls over Matt, and hits him with an arm drag as he lands, followed by a dropkick as Matt is in the kneeling position. Matt hits the ground and Arata moves quick with a leaping elbow drop. Matt gets to his knees and Arata goes for a suplex, but Matt uses his weight to drop it down. Arata adapts his move, going for a lifting DDT. Matt hits the ground hard again. Arata goes for a Penalty kick, but Matt uses his arm to sweep Arata’s standing leg and trip him. He hops up and catches a standing Arata with a leaping forearm, then drives him into the corner. Matt hits two shoulder blocks, then hits him with a spinning Gourdbuster, leaps up to the middle rope and hits a diving knee. Matt grabs Arata and picks him up, going to put him in position for the Gold Rush early, but slides out and hits Matt with a short-arm bicycle knee strike, followed by a moonsault. Arata goes for a pin attempt.

Arata stumbles back and Matt follows with a rushing lariat. He stomps on Arata twice, then picks him up for a spinebuster on the outside. Arata winces in pain. Matt kneels down and punches Arata in the forehead hard three times. Matt then rolls Arata into the ring, his head hanging off the apron. Matt runs up with a knee lift, knocking Arata hard then hops onto the ring apron, seated, taunting the crowd. They boo as Matt laughs then rolls into the ring, stomping on Arata again. Matt picks Arata up and puts him in a powerslam position, but Arata slides off the back and dropkicks Matt to send him forward. Matt stays on his feet and turns around into an Enzuigiri. Matt slumps to his knees. Arata sees his opportunity, runs forward and hits the Painkiller Hurracanrana Driver. Matt falls down as Arata climbs the ropes, looking back and hits a high angle moonsault. Matt raises his knees, and Arata lands on them hard. Arata rolls over and Matt grabs Arata by the neck, applying the single knee camel clutch. Arata reaches for the ropes and looks to tap, as Matt drives it in deeper. Arata almost breaks, but then pulls forward and grabs the ropes. Matt breaks the hold, as Arata composes himself. Matt begins to tear off the turnbuckle pad as the ref chastises him. He tosses it into the stands, and Arata gets to his feet. Matt grabs Arata and goes for a two-handed bulldog, but Arata holds tall and Matt ends up in front of him. Arata follows up with a snap dragon suplex, then grabs Matt, hits him with a knee to the chest, then whips him to the ropes. Arata runs perpendicular, looking for a ki- CEASEFIRE! Matt blasts Arata out of nowhere with the Ceasefire European Uppercut! Matt rolls Arata up.

Kickout by Arata. Matt gets up and immediately begins to stomp on Arata, then goes for a knee drop. Arata rolls out of the way, then hops up and hits a kick combo onto Matt. He finishes with a spinning mid kick, then runs to the ropes and hits Matt with a Kotaro Krusher on the rebound. Matt rolls over onto his back, and Arata hops onto the second rope, then dives off to catch Matt with a hurracanrana as he stands. Matt lands in a seated position as Arata runs forward and connects with a shining wizard to the back of Matt's head. Arata picks Matt up, spinning him to go for a German Suplex. Matt uses his momentum to reverse it rolling Arata up. Asakura kicks out immediately, and Matt rises quick. Arata jumps up quickly, right into a Double M Spinebuster! Matt claps his hands afterwards, and grabs Arata to whip him against the ropes. On the rebound, he ducks low for a flapjack, Arata leaps over him and runs to the other end. he comes back and hits Matt with a dropkick. Matt is slower to get up as Arata locks him in a facelock and lifts him for a suplex. Matt goes up, but follows through and ends up behind Asakura. Miles hits him with a snap german suplex, then loops back around to quickly face Arata and hit him with a running knee before he can get back up. Matt stomps on Arata's hand, then his arm, then deadlifts him up, planting him with a Back Suplex Facebuster. Matt goes to pick up Arata, but Asakura pushes him forward, sending Matt's throat colliding into the rope. He hangs there for a second, as Arata runs forward with a quick double knee to the back. Arata falls over from exhaustion as both men lay there and the ref begins to count.

Both men begin to stir.

The ref stops his count as both men stand and face each other. Arata hits a chop to Miles, then beckons him to chop back. Matt chops him, the sound heard across the arena. Arata responds in kind, as Matt winces and steps back. Matt blasts Arata with another, who fires up and hits Matt with one again. He hits another, then one more. Matt falls to one knee, and Arata hits a spinning back kick, nearly kicking Matt's head off. Arata sees his opportunity and climbs the turnbuckle, looking for the Golden Dragon High Fly Flow. Matt, however, rolls out of the ring, forcing Arata to adapt. Arata turns to face Matt, standing on the outside, and leaps off, taking him out with a crossbody!!! The crowd goes wild as Arata is fired up. He grabs Matt and rolls him into the ring. Matt starts to rise, and Arata hits him with a leg kick, causing Miles to buckle. Arata goes for a suplex. He connects, then rolls through and goes for another. Matt brings his knee down on the lift, doming Arata. Matt lands on his feet, stumbles back, then sees his opportunity. He runs forward, grabs Arata with both hands... TWO HANDED BULLDOG TO THE EXPOSED TURNBUCKLE! Arata is split open and stumbles back, Matt grabs him with a facelock... GOLDRUSH! Miles rolls him over.

After the Combat, Matt rises up and celebrates as the ref raises his arm high.

As we return from our last Combat, we come to backstage where the limousine from prior has pulled into the show. The door opens, and Ana is rushed from the limousine immediately. Ana shoves the person helping her out of the car and storms down the hall, as you hear her music playing. Jon steps out after her, and looks to the camera. Jon motions a finger to his throat, drawing a line to refer to the mood Ana currently displays, then grabs his championship and heads to his locker room.

As Ana Somnia tries to make her entrance to the contest ahead, we see Liz Karlson emerge from behind her and nail her with a steel chair! The crowd cheers as Liz looks to finally get the advantage over her long rival, grabbing her and HURLING her into the crowd, but Somnia’s quick to recover as Liz tries to come over to the crowd, NAILING Karlson with a brutal roaring elbow that sends her tumbling over the barricade onto the ramp! Somnia lines up for an early Hunted, looking to knock Liz out before this Combat even begins, but as she runs for it, Liz manages to duck out of the way and roll, getting a running start and taking Somnia out with a wicked dropkick! Somnia crashes to the ramp and rolls down toward the ring, the two blasting each other with shots before Somnia grabs Karlson and slams her face into the apron three times and sends her into the ring! She follows up by rolling in, screaming for the timekeeper to ‘ring the fucking bell!’ and it’s rung-the Combat begins!

Both women slump down, but Liz manages to recover slightly faster, looking for a cannonball senton into the barricade, only for Somnia to roll out of the way and send Liz landing directly on her head and neck! Liz holds her neck, and Somnia follows up with a leaping forearm strike to the prone Liz Karlson! Karlson stays down, and Somnia rips the lining of the apron up, grabbing a table and pulling it out before shoving it into the ring! She sets it up, before dragging Liz back into the ring, only for Liz to whip Somnia into the table! Somnia slams face-first into the table, and tries to recover, but she’s a tad too late AS LIZ KARLSON STOMPS HER HEAD THROUGH THE TABLE WITH A WICKED DIVING STOMP! She falls back for a pin attempt!

TW-NO! SOMNIA KICKS OUT!

Feeling a great deal of frustration early in, Karlson looks for a Dragon Sleeper, but Somnia counters it almost instantaneously with a ripcord knee strike to Liz Karlson! Karlson drops back into the ropes, and Somnia gets a running start, looking for a Hunted as Liz gets stuck, but Liz backdrops her over onto the apron, stunning Somnia as she crashes down and to the ground! Liz hits the ropes, looking for a Suicide Senton to the outside and TAKING SOMNIA DOWN TO THE GROUND! Karlson cheers to the crowd, who respond her vocality, before she grabs Somnia and rolls her back into the ring. She heads up to the top rope, laying Somnia on half of the broken table and looking for a Brick Shithouse Bomb, but as soon as she dives SOMNIA COUNTERS WITH A WICKED CATCHING ELBOW! Karlson slams through the table, and Somnia grabs her, pulling her up-SCORCHED EARTH BACKBREAKER! She goes for a cover!

ONE!

TWO!-AND OUT AT TWO! Karlson’s still in this!

The fight goes on as Somnia drags Liz back to her feet, looking for Wanderlust, but Liz begins belting her with repeated back elbows to the head, causing her to fall back into the ropes on her own! Liz spins around with a back elbow, but Somnia ducks it, blasting her with a knee before grappling with Liz, trying to take her down to the ground! She looks to target Liz’s left arm, doing severe damage with a kneeling armbar before rotating into a hammerlock armbreaker! She snaps Liz’s arm, and Liz cries out in pain, rolling to the ropes, but Somnia’s not done yet as she STOMPS Liz’s already-injured arm into the canvas again! She looks away as Liz cries out in pain, before rolling to the outside and grabbing two chairs, setting them up with their backs together. She pulls Liz up and screams ‘goodnight, bitch!’ as she pulls her up to Zver’ Bomb her into the chair backs, but Liz somehow manages to drop down, blasting Somnia with two good elbow shots from her undamaged arm before she pulls her up onto her shoulders, showing a great deal of strength, getting a running start-DEATH VALLEY BOMB onto the chair backs! She’s not done, however, as she hits the ropes FOR A RUNNING SENTON ONTO ANA SOMNIA! AND A COVER!

Karlson tries to get back to her feet, but Somnia tries for a UDUSHNIYE LOCK ONTO KARLSON! Karlson scrambles to get to the ropes and get leverage, but Somnia tries harder to lock the hold in, leaving Karlson nearly defenseless! Karlson tries to drag Somnia up to her feet, and somehow manages to block the hold all the way, trying for another Dragon Sleeper only for Somnia to break away and blast Karlson with a stiff roundhouse to the head, sending Karlson bouncing into the ropes and off onto her knees and in range for a PILA UDAR! Karlson drops like a sack of shit, and Somnia goes for a cover!

ONE!

TWO!!

THR-NO! KARLSON KICKS OUT!

Somnia looks frustrated as she slams her hands into the mat, before dragging Karlson out onto the apron, stomping her in the face a handful of times to keep her down! Liz looks to be suffering from a great deal of injury while Somnia pulls a table out from under the ring, setting it up next to the apron where Karlson lays! She drags Karlson’s body partially out onto the table before going to the top rope, likely signalling for From Russia with Love, but the Huntress takes a moment too long to hesitate and wait as Karlson springs up onto the top rope with an Enziguri! Somnia looks staggered as Karlson pulls her up onto her shoulders despite the injuries to her arm, Somnia blasting Liz with repeated elbows as she tries to escape, but Karlson keeps the hold locked-AND SHE DRIVES SOMNIA AND HERSELF FROM THE TOP ROPE AND TO THE OUTSIDE THROUGH THE TABLE WITH A MASSIVE DEATH VALLEY DRIVER! Both women crash to the arena floor and lay separate from one another as our Combat clock ticks on, the referee trying to get a gauge on the condition of both women!

As the Combat ticks on, Liz is the first to pull herself back to her feet, having landed at a nasty angle on her already-damaged arm. She drags Somnia over to the corner barricade, lining up and stomping the ground before launching forward with a CANNONBALL SENTON TO SEND BOTH OF THEM THROUGH THE BARRICADE! Somnia somehow escapes the brunt of it, pulling herself up on a chair as Liz writhes on the ground, before Somnia grabs a chair, going for a swing on Karlson, but Karlson ducks it, kicking Somnia low and grabbing a chair of her own, only for Somnia to stab at Karlson’s midsection with a wicked chair shot before SLAMMING it down over her head! Karlson crumples to her knees, and Somnia takes another swing, breaking the seat off of the chair! She grabs another and SLAMS it into Karlson’s head, this one drawing blood that paints the concrete beneath them. A third chair, and Somnia THROWS it at Karlson’s head, staggering the Brick Shithouse long enough for Somnia to drag her out of the out-stage area and onto the apron! Somnia rolls Karlson back into the ring, and rolls herself back in.

Somnia stomps into the corner and looks for one more attempt at Hunted as a bloodied Karlson pulls herself up onto her knees, but as she lunges for the Shining Wizard KARLSON COUNTERS WITH A POP-UP POWERBOMB! BUT SHE’S NOT DONE-ANKLE LOCK! GRAPEVINE! KARLSON’S GOING AFTER ANA’S STRIKING LEG! Ana looks to be, stunningly, in pain, but she manages to escape the ankle lock only for Karlson to go for a calf crusher! Karlson’s latent technical skills have become suddenly visible in the late portion of this Combat as Ana looks close to giving up, but Karlson’s not willing to win just yet, hauling Ana in close and up for an Absolute Fuckery-but Somnia stops Liz dead despite the damage to her knee, blasting her with repeated fists and then a spinning backfist! She goes for a desperate cover on Liz Karlson!

ONE!

TWO!!

THRE-NO! KARLSON KICKS OUT!

Somnia pulls herself up onto her knees, looking surprised, but not quite quitting yet. She drags herself back to her feet and finds herself unsteady due to the damage to her knee. She looks to grab Karlson and pull her to the outside, but Karlson fights against her with repeated blows to the stomach and chest, blasting her with chops and strikes. She drags Somnia to the corner and tries to pull her up to the top rope, looking for an Absolute Fuckery, but Somnia has other ideas, drilling her in the face with repeated fist shots. Ana locks in a backpack choke on Liz, doing more and more damage until she PULLS LIZ OFF AND BOTH CRASH TO THE OUTSIDE FLOOR! Ana locks the choke in tighter and tighter, locking in Wanderlust, but Liz refuses to let herself be dragged into the ring!

The two scramble for dominance as Liz tries to do damage to Ana, but Ana stays with it, trying to keep the hold locked! Liz falls to a knee, she looks like she’s suffering, Ana’s got the hold locked in, Liz looks almost out-

DING! DING! DING!

WHAT?!

The crowd looks confused as Ana looks to the timekeeper.

LUIS RAFFERTY : “Ladies and gentlemen, the official in charge of this contest has called this fight at the thirty minute mark… Declaring this fight a TIME-LIMIT DRAW!

Ana and Liz both look furious, although Liz more looks relieved on the outside. Ana argues with the timekeeper, but they shrug, before a song hits the P.A. system.

THE ROAD I WALK IS PAVED IN GOLD
TO GLORIFY MY PLATINUM SOUL!
I'LL BUY MY WAY TO TALK TO GOD
SO HE CAN LIVE WITH WHAT I'M NOT!

THIS SELFISH BLOOD
RUNS THROUGH MY VEINS;
I GAVE UP EVERYTHING FOR FAME!

As “Don’t Stop” by Innerpartysystem plays over the P.A. system in the Arena Ciudad, the fans roar to their feet in anticipation, wanting answers. Soon, Archibald Rensselaer steps through the curtain in a gray suit with a pristine, forest green tie and gunmetal gray tie-clip. After the goings on earlier in the evening, his patience is wearing thin and he appears to have no time for games. He lifts a microphone to his lips and speaks quite matter-of-factly.

I told the two of you this Combat would have a winner one way or another, no matter what, because that is what this company needs, what these fans need, and what the NIKE PRO Women’s Championship bout at the finale needs… And have a winner it will. This Combat is going to SUDDEN DEATH OVERTIME! The first Combatant to secure a pin or submission will be the NUMBER ONE CONTENDER... So, ladies… Get to work.

Ana looks to Karlson as the bell rings again, and goes to drag her back into the ring, but Karlson manages to nail her with a PACKAGE KNEEBREAKER! Ana looks to be in agonizing pain as this looks to have done severe damage, but as Karlson lines up for the 3xF, Ana swings it around into Wanderlust! She has no issue forcing Karlson back into near unconsciousness a second time before she throws Liz back into the ring, rolling in and looking for Hunted, planning on striking with her less-damaged knee, but as she runs forward her damaged knee crumples beneath her, opening her up as Karlson manages to get back and blast her with a lariat! Ana recovers just a moment to get to her knee as Liz hits the ropes a second time, bouncing off-3XF! She drops her leg on Ana’s head and drags her down for a pin!

LUIS RAFFERTY : “Ladies and gentlemen, the official in charge of this contest has called this fight at the thirty-one minutes and thirty-four seconds mark… Here is your winner by way of pinfall and the NUMBER ONE CONTENDER to the NIKE PRO WOMEN’S CHAMPIONSHIP... LLLIIIZZZZ... KAAAARRRLLLLSSSOOONNN!

Liz rolls to her feet, stunned as the crowd explodes with approval. She plays to them from all four sides, but as she turns to the referee, Ana Somnia blocks her way. She looks ready for a fight, but Ana sticks her hand out, wearing a cocky smile. Liz nods, and takes it, shaking it before allowing Ana to leave, playing to the crowd with her challenge for the winner of the women’s title Combat set in her mind...

Just before the sound of his theme song, the camera cuts to ‘The Mega Heel’, Jay O’Neil. He’s pacing back and forth, each direction taking a maximum of four quick, shuffled steps. He spots the camera standing mere feet from him, and with no hesitation, no warm up, no warning whatsoever, he BLASTS the cameraman with a picture perfect INDIE KICK! The camera remains pointing to the ceiling, where Jay O’Neil would soon linger over top of, a sinister grin formed on lips. The wide spread grin is only broken once he opens his mouth to speak, and in a hushed state, he mutters.

“This, right here, and right now DIES. You thought the first half of this fucking thing was a fun time for everyone? IT’S OVER. It’s ALL OVER.”

“Heel shit only? Naw. The next few weeks is JAY O’NEIL ONLY.”

“Kevin Harris? You’re first. Good night. Goodbye. Have a fuckin’ lovely life, bitch.”

And with that, ‘Thank God That I’m Not You’ by Himalayas fires up on the sounds system. Jay gives the camera a confident nod before he storms out through the curtains to a mixed reaction of deafening cheers and thunderous boos.

UPPER MIDCARD
Singles Combat | Homecoming Series
KEVIN HARRIS (6) v. JAY O'NEIL (5)

We return to the ring where Jay O’Neil and Kevin Harris would be spotted standing across from each other. ‘The Mega Heel’ was busy vaping away on his Juul, blowing dank clouds of mango flavored cancer into the air. Kevin Harris had a much more serious tone painted on his face, as he remained cool and confident. Harris rotated his hands to loosen up his wrists, eyes not leaving the combatant that he would be facing in mere moments. Jay sets down his Juul in his corner. The referee calls for the bell.

DING! DING! DING!

AND HERE WE GO! The two men leave their respective corners and meet in the center of the ring. Harris looks to lock up, but Jay slips free, pacing a small circle before laughing at Harris’ attempt. They reset their position, keeping their eyes locked on each other. Kevin once more lunges in, looking to lock up with a Collar and Elbow Tie Up with Jay. Once more, Jay slips free, laughing maniacally to himself. Jay hits a Floss on Kevin, who shakes his head, appearing annoyed with ‘The Mega Heel’s antics. Harris moves in for a grapple, and Jay slips it, but Harris follows it up with a Lariat that knocks Jay down flat. Harris looked done with Jay’s idiotic tactics. Jay pulls himself back up as Harris paces back and forth, a confident grin had formed on his lips. Jay throws out a Indie Kick! Harris slips it, pulling in Jay and Smacking the taste out of his mouth! Jay’s hand goes up to his cheek. Harris looks to grapple, and finally O’Neil grapples back! Both men looks to overpower their opponent! Harris comes out the victor in the exchange before he sends Jay-O sailing into the ropes with a Irish Whip! On the rebound, Harris catches O’Neil with a Hip Toss!! Jay lands on his feet! O’Neil turns to Harris and flips him two middle fingers before he catches ‘The Steadfast Reckoning’ on the chin with a Indie Kick! The shot drops Harris, Jay slithers in for a pin.

ONE!
TW-
KICKOUT!!!

Nowhere near enough done to put away Harris, who’d entered this Combat riding high on an incredibly hot streak! Jay pulls himself up to his feet as Kevin Harris uses the ropes to pry himself up to a vertical base. Jay hovers over Harris throughout the whole process, and once Kevin was at his feet, Jay looks to slip in a European Uppercut - Harris sees it coming a mile away and blocks it, stopping O’Neil in his tracks. Harris counters with a Forearm Smash across the forehead of ‘The Mega Heel’, sending him stumbling backwards. Harris quickly darts in towards his opponent and catches Jay with a Jawbreaker, forcing him to stumble backwards even further. Harris returns to his feet with some speed behind him and catches O’Neil in the ribs with a Side Kick, followed up by a Scoop Slam that flattens Jay in the center of the ring. Kevin Harris drops atop of O’Neil and sends a heavy Knee Strike into the ribs of his opponent. Wincing in pain, Jay pulls himself out of the ring, scooting out underneath the bottom rope.

Once ready to roll again, Jay slides back in, where Kevin Harris waited patiently. Jay pops up and attempts to catch Harris with another Indie Kick, but ‘The Steadfast Reckoning’ once more sees it, and avoids it by slipping it to the side. Harris catches O’Neil with a Knee to the Gut, kneeling Jay over. Harris pulls O’Neil in, and lifts him up for a powerbomb! He PLANTS him with a Standing Powerbomb, slightly different than his lethal ‘Steel Floor’ variation! Harris looks to end it all the same, however, as he crawls over top of Jay and hooks a leg for the pin!

ONE!
TWO!!
T-
KICKOUT!!!

Two count! Kevin pulls himself up and to his feet with a firm grasp on the wrist of ‘The Mega Heel’. Harris sends O’Neil sailing into the corner, where Jay crashes into the turnbuckles shoulders first, before he goes flipping up into a seated position atop the turnbuckles, before he flops over and lands on the outside, catching his chest on the apron as he crashes and burns down to the outside! The crowd erupts, knowing fully well that the shot looked like it hurt. Harris, with a hunters mentality, slips to the outside.

On the outside, Jay was beginning to make his way up to his feet. Harris loomed overtop. Harris grabs O’Neil by the back of his neck, forcing O’Neil to look him in the eyes.. eyes.. EYE RAKE!! A swearing, pained Harris is forced to take a step back, grasping at his eye sockets. Jay sees his opening he needs and Chops the leg of Harris, forcing him to drop down the a kneeled position. Enough of an opening, Jay lunges forward and connects with Wizardry to the back of Harris’ skull! He quickly comes back to his feet and pulls Harris up, before rolling him into the ring. Jay slithers in and covers.

ONE!
TWO!!
KICKOUT!!!

TWO COUNT! Not enough damage done! Jay pulls himself up using the ropes. Stumbling, Harris manages to find his way to his feet. The two men meet in the center of the ring, where Harris swings for a Wild Haymaker - that Jay catches! FINGER SNAP!! The crowd has to keep it together as the loud snap rings throughout the arena. Harris takes a moment to wince in pain, giving Jay the opening to grab ahold of Harris - NO --- STEADFAST RECKONING!! The shot catches Jay CLEAN! He stumbles back and once more falls out of the ring, falling through the middle and top rope before crashing out to the outside. Harris sighs before following him out, dragging him up to his feet, and forcing O’Neil back into the ring by rolling him under the bottom rope.

Back inside, Harris crawls over to Jay. He covers him up.

ONE!
TWO!!
THRE-
KICKOUT!!!

IF ONLY JAY DIDN’T FALL OUT OF THE RING, THIS WOULD BE ALL OVER!

Harris slowly pulls himself, and Jay back up to their feet. He signals to the crowd that ‘this is all over’ before reeling in O’Neil into a powerbomb position! Was this going to be The Steel Floor!? He starts to lift -- JAY DOES A BACKWARDS HEADBUTT TO THE GROIN!!! The referee misses it! A quick Roll Up Pin from Jay!!!

ONE!
JAY GRABS THE ROPES!!

THE REF DOESN’T SEE IT!!

DING! DING! DING!

LUIS RAFFERTY : “Ladies and gentlemen, the official in charge of this contest has called this fight at the sixteen minutes and thirteen seconds mark… Here is your winner by way of pinfall and earning TWO POINTS in the Homecoming Series... JAAAYYYY... OOOOO’NNNEEEIIIILLLL!

Jay wastes no time exiting the ring, a smug grin formed on his lips. He retrieves his Juul vaping stick as he passes by it. One quick inhale, and he blows out a cloud of smoke, laughing all the way to the back. Back in the ring, Harris questions the referee how he managed to miss all of the end of the Combat antics from Jay.

HANA NAKAJIMA © v. CHLOÉ LEUTHARD

DING! DING! DING!

Following the bell ring, Hana Nakajima and Chloé Leuthard stare each other down from their prospective corners. Hana immediately enters a fight stance, ready to combat. Chloé, on the other hand, insults Hana from afar. Hana calls for a lockup, and Chloé steps closer to her. She makes it look like she’s going to go into the lockup, then slaps Hana hard across the face, laughing. Hana instantly goes for a takedown, but Chloé catches her with it and begins to knee her in the chest. Hana rolls out and pulls Chloé in for a sleeper hold, but Chloé drops down and flips Hana over her. Hana lands on her feet and kicks Chloé with a back kick, then turns around and goes for an abdominal stretch. Chloé wriggles free and judo tosses Hana over her, then takes her down with a running lariat. Hana hits the ground hard, and Chloé mounts on top of her, trapping her with elbow strikes. She hits Hana with four of them, then rolls her over and holds her head up, yelling into her face before driving it into the mat.
Chloé gets up and puts Hana into a front facelock, grabbing the arm and going for the Hammerlock DDT. Hana pushes Chloé into the corner and lifts her foot up to choke Chloé, waiting for the count of four then dropping it. Hana grabs Chloé to whip her into the other corner, then turns it around for a short arm into a headscissors takedown. Chloé catches her, then tosses her forward for a Sitout Facebuster. Chloé moves quick, applying a North South choke to wear down Hana. Hana starts to struggle, so Chloé lifts her up and begins to knee her into the head. She grabs Hana, lifts her up and drops her with a Powerbomb. Chloé keeps her held and transitions it into a pinning attempt.

Hana kicks out. Chloé shouts in frustration, steps back, then runs forward to stomp Hana before she can get up. Hana catches her foot, drops Chloé to the ground and turns it into an crossface, but Chloé scurries forward to grab the ropes, forcing Hana to break the hold. Chloé climbs up quick, and Hana rushes at her. Chloé catches her and lifts her up to hit a Slingshot Back Suplex, planting Hana. Chloé uses the ropes to jump up and leverage her for a knee drop, then keeps digging the knee into the ribs of Hana. Hana grabs onto the ropes and the ref forces Chloé to break the hold, but Chloé holds tight. The ref begins his count. Once he gets to four, Chloé releases it and backs up. She runs forward, and Hana lifts her over and onto the apron. Hana goes to hit her with an elbow, but Chloé rakes her eyes. Hana stumbles back, and Chloé hits the Springboard European Uppercut, spinning through the air. Hana hits the mat, and Chloé hops to her feet. Hana sits up and Chloé takes her out with a stiff roundhouse. Chloé climbs up the top rope, leaping off and connecting with Death from Above. Hana clutches her chest in pain as Chloé goes for another pinning attempt.

Thr-
Kickout by Hana. Chloé is clearly frustrated and yells at the ref. Chloé runs back to the ropes, rebounding and coming back with a Big Boot. Hana slides below it to dodge the boot. Chloé turns around as Hana goes for a low leg sweep. Chloé jumps over it, and goes for a roundhouse kick. Hana knocks it away and goes for a back elbow. Chloé blocks it and goes for a slap. Hana grabs the arm and goes for a catch armbar. Chloé struggles with it, stopping Hana from locking it in. She turns around and pivots, setting herself up in position to stomp on Hana’s head to release the hold. Hana is dazed as Chloé grabs her by the hair and picks her up, going for an inverted DDT. She lifts up, but Hana pushes free and Chloé leans up against the ropes. Chloé steps forward, but Hana charges with all of her might, tossing herself with no regard to Chloé and sending both of them out of the ring! Recovering from a rough dive to the outside, both Hana and Chloe take a moment and a breather before Chloé grabs Hana and rams her head-first into the ring apron! Hana tries to get back to her feet, but Chloé keeps on her, blasting her with repeated hammer fists to the back of the neck, before looking for a step up knee! The referee tries to get both to return to the ring, but Chloe’s not quite had enough of her abuse of Hana yet, taking Hana and dragging her to the barricade, but Hana manages to blast her with repeated forearms before hanging Chloé over the barricade! Chloé looks shocked as Hana blasts her with a knee strike, heading up onto the apron-LEG DROP OFF THE BARRICADE FROM HANA NAKAJIMA! Chloe’s neck looks to have crumpled from the blow, and Hana rolls her back inside, going for a cover!

Tw-No! Chloé kicks out!

Hana looks surprised, but shrugs, only for Chloé to trap her with a dragon sleeper! Chloé looks to submit the Women’s champion early, but Hana goes for the ropes, causing a break, only for Chloé to blast her with a wicked back elbow followed up by a big boot! Hana crumples, and Chloé goes to the top rope, looking for a frog splash -and she hits it! She follows up with a big standing stomp, and then a pin attempt!

Two!

Th-no! Hana kicks out!

Chloé looks frustrated now, dragging Hana to her feet only for Hana to counter into a shoulder-breaker! Chloé looks surprised, but Hana keeps her at arm’s length, blasting her with repeated kicks! She looks for an armbar, but Chloé has other ideas, blasting her with repeated elbow shots! She drags Hana out to the apron, blasting her with rougher and rougher elbow shots that drop her to a knee before looking for a big boot, only for Hana to attempt a counter into a sunset flip, but Chloé counters into a belly to back piledriver on the apron! Hana crumples to the outside, but Chloé keeps a hold on Hana’s wrist, throwing her back into the ring. She drags Hana to the corner, and begins laying into her with rough chops, before taking a walk for a moment, lining up and running for a high knee to the corner-but Hana counters with a snap crucifix roll-up!

One!

Two!

Thr-no! Chloé kicks out!

Chloé looks to recover quickly, but Hana’s on her with heat, blasting her with two quick knee strikes before hitting the rope and going for a diving lariat-only for Chloé to catch her and throw her down with a back breaker! Hana looks stunned, and Chloé throws Hana into the ropes, catching her on the rebound with a big boot, but somehow, Hana manages to stay up! Hana looks for a leaping V-Trigger to Chloé as Chloé goes to the ropes, but Chloé is just slightly faster with a springboard European uppercut! Hana drops to the canvas, and Chloé covers!

One!

Two-no! Hana kicks out!

Growing tired with the bout, Chloé drags Hana to the corner and pulls her up onto the top rope. She slaps her in the face, but Hana doesn’t seem to be hurt, instead slapping Chloé in response! Chloé looks for a vertical superplex, but Hana tangles her feet in the ropes to stop the full rotation before blasting Chloé with repeated forearms, only for Chloé to rock her with a wicked elbow strike. Hana goes limp, and Chloé hauls her up for a modified Brainbuster, only for Hana to slam her knee into Chloe’s skull! Chloé drops Hana back, and Hana crumples to the canvas, before pulling herself up! She plays to the crowd, who quickly get behind her, before she gets a running start to the ropes, leaping-springboard hurricanarana from the middle rope! Chloé slams neck-first into the canvas, and Hana follows up with a massive body splash to Chloé, going for a cover!

One!

Two!

Three-no!

Chloé kicks out! The NIKE PRO Women’s Champion looks to be stunned! Hana buries her face in her hands, frustrated by the resilience displayed by Chloé Leuthard. She shakes her head and climbs back to her feet as she watches Chloé stirring in the middle of the ring. Soon enough, an idea comes to mind and Nakajima crouches down, briefly gesturing for her challenger to get up. Once Leuthard is to one knee, Hana speeds forward in search of a Shining Wizard! BUT CHLOÉ GETS JUST OUT OF THE WAY! Hana stumbles a little as she tries to stop her own momentum, turning around RIGHT INTO A LARIAT! She hits the mat and hastens back to her feet to duck under a second attempt at this maneuver, giving herself the proper angle to leap up and LATCH HER LEGS AROUND HER FOE’S NECK, SPINNING HER ‘ROUND AND ‘ROUND WITH THE FLY, FLY, BUTTERFLY! The longer she spins, the longer it seems as if the Golden Girl is going to hurl! But out of nowhere, Chloé stops her spinning and grabs ahold of Hana’s shoulder so she can TOSS HER OVERHEAD WITH THE RHINE FALLS! Nakajima writhes in pain on the mat as Chloé sits up and tries to steady her vision, still visibly dizzy. A moment or two later, the challenger uses the ropes to pull to her feet, though she stumbles away on spaghetti legs until she can see straight. From here, she watches Nakajima stirring toward a vertical base, prompting Chloé to hasten toward the ropes, leap up, and bounce off of the middle rope. She twists through the air and LOOKS TO DECAPITATE THE CHAMPION WITH A SPRINGBOARD EUROPEAN UPPERCUT! BUT HANA CATCHES HER OUT OF MID-AIR! TIGER SUPLEX!

A few moments pass as the fans try to spur the Champion back to her feet to no avail until she can compose herself enough. Once vertical again, the Heart of the Sea bends out to the apron and gingerly ascends up the side of the ropes to the top turnbuckle, where she steadies her footing and flicks her eyes up to her foe, who is stirring yet again. When Chloé gets to her feet, Nakajima LEAPS OFF OF THE TOP ROPE AND TWISTS THROUGH THE AIR IN SEARCH OF THE STARLIGHT! BUT CHLOÉ SNAGS HER FOE OUT OF MID-AIR AND PLANTS HANA INTO THE MAT ON HER BACK WITH A SNAPPED SCOOP SLAM! Like her opponent just had, Chloé regains her composure and bends out to the apron, where she climbs up the side of the ropes to the top turnbuckle. She steadies her footing, rises to a fully vertical base, and SOARS ACROSS THE RING TO CRASH THROUGH HANA’S EXPOSED RIBS WITH THE DEATH FROM ABOVE! Leuthard scrambles to the cover while clutching her own ribs in pain! Count it!

THRE—

KICKOUT!

Chloé shrieks in agitation, not happy she had not won the bout then and there. A moment or so later, she uses the ropes to pull herself back to her feet and looks out on the crowd briefly. Next, she turns back toward Hana and drags her to her feet by her hair while talking a fair amount of trash here. Once she has the Champion vertical, Chloé swings her arm up and cracks her foe with a European Uppercut, one which staggers Hana. Once Nakajima’s momentum stops, she looks up at Chloé and INSTANTLY EATS A BIG BOOT! Nakajima hits the mat on her back and tries desperately to get back up, giving Chloé the opening to sprint off of the far ropes and SEARCH FOR THE ANGELIC DEMISE! BUT HANA CATCHES THE KICK! LEG-HOOK NORTHERN LIGHTS SUPLEX! Hana takes a moment or two to regain her composure and recover before climbing back to her feet and backing her way to a seat on the top turnbuckle. From there, she climbs up to stand on the top rope, off of which she LEAPS AND TWISTS THROUGH THE AIR, DRAGGING HER CHALLENGER DOWN FACE-FIRST ACROSS HER SHOULDER WITH THE STARLIGHT! SHE FLIES TO HOOK A LEG! COUNT IT!

FINAL COMBAT
Singles Combat | NIKE PRO World's Championship
JON JRYGIN © v. SHANE HOLLIDAY

Finally, we are brought to the main event of the evening. The NIKE PRO World’s Champion, Jon Jrygin, looks prepared to duke it out with his opposition. Standing across from him, the number one contender to the title, Shane Holliday, looks as ready as ever to leave it all on the line in this combat. The referee checks both men over before calling for the bell!!

DING! DING! DING!

AND WE’RE OFF!! Coming flying out of his corner is the champion, who is met rather quickly by the challenger! Both men come to the center of the ring, instantly throwing out a flurry of blows! Jrygin begins to smash away with Forearm Smashes on Holliday, who fights back with his own Elbow Smashes! Each blow looks, feels, and sounds like it lands harder than the last! Jrygin slips back, wrangling himself free, before lunging forward with a Lariat attempt that Holliday ducks below! As Jrygin turns back to Holliday, he’s met by a Gut Kick that winds him momentarily! Holliday goes to grab ahold of Jrygin, but the Champ manages to free himself before hammering home a Heavy Elbow to the forehead of THe Los Angeles Adonis. Holliday stumbles backwards, leaving him open to the charging Jrygin. Jon swings for another Lariat, but Holliday manges to use his own momentum against him as he tosses him across the ring with a quick Arm Drag. Jrygin quickly pops back up. Holliday quickly pops back up. Both men take a moment, a deep breath, as their eyes remain locked on eachother, the fixation never breaking. Holliday motions to his waist, acting as if there was a championship there. Jon shoots back with a scoff before the two men lock up!

Collar and Elbow Tie up, followed by a test of strength. Jon Jrygin manages to push Holliday backwards into the ropes, using his palms on the face of Holliday. He reels back with a cocked right fist before he sends it swinging towards Shane, catching him on the jaw with a Wild Right Hook!! Jon pulls in his opposition, throwing his arm over the head of Shane, before lifting him and dropping him with a Vertical Suplex! Shane throws a hand up to his back as he winces in pain. Jon rises to his feet, followed by Shane who wasn’t much further behind him. As soon as Shane was up, Jon pulled him in for a Scoop Slam, planting S-Holliday flat on the mat! Jrygin wastes no time booting Shane with a Soccer Kick to the small of his back! Jon quickly drops on top of him, gaining a side mount on his challenger, before sending Knee Strikes into the ribs of Holliday!! Jrygin pulls off, taking a moment to lean on the ropes with a sick grin on his face.

Shane rises to his feet, showing signs of some pain. Jrygin lunges towards him like a crazed wolf. Holliday sees it coming and connects to Jon’s mid section with a Spinning Back Kick!! The shot leaves Jon open, and Holliday takes advantage of it with a Dropkick that backs Jon into the ropes. As Holliday rises, he finds a charging Jrygin who goes to decapitate The Los Angeles Adonis with ANOTHER Lariat attempt - But Holliday ducks it, pulling Jon up onto his shoulder, and absolutely PLANTING him with a mean Spinebuster! Holliday pops back up to his feet and grabs a mitt full of Jrygin’s wrist. He pulls The World Champion up to a vertical base. Shane finds himself quickly behind Jrygin, and with a waist lock, he lifts and slams Jrygin with a German Suplex!! A bridge for the pinfall attempt!!

ONE!
TWO-
KICKOUT!!!

No good, not enough to put away the champion! Shane takes a deep breath before pulling himself up to his feet. He grabs Jrygin and assists him in rising up to a vertical base. Shane goes in to grapple with Jon, but is met by a counter! Jon quickly changes pace, grabbing Shane around his head and pulling him into a Muay Thai Clinch! Jon swings Shane, Muay Thai Knee! He blocks it! Muay Thai Knee! Another block! Jon feints a Left Muay Thai Knee, and as Shane is tricked into throwing up a block, quickly switches to a Right Muay Thai Knee that finally catches Holliday on the chin! Instantly, Shane stumbles backwards on wobbly legs. Jon fires in and catches him once more on the chin with an Elbow Strike Uppercut! Jon grabs ahold of Shane - BUT OUT OF NOWHERE SHANE FIRES BACK WITH A DISCUS ELBOW SMASH!! The shot lands flush with the temple of Jon Jrygin, sending him stumbling into the ropes. Jon looks back at Shane, who was staring a hole through him. Both men charge, both men connect with a Lariat!! Both combatants were floored!

The Champion and The Challenger rise back to their feet. Shane throws out an Elbow Strike that connects with Jon! Jrygin fires back with an Elbow Strike of his own! Shane changes pace, hitting the side of Jrygin with a swinging Mid Kick! Jon absorbs the blow and fires back with a Shuffle Side Kick that connects with the mid section of Shane Holliday! Jon grabs ahold of the wrist of Holliday, sending him sailing into the corner with an Irish Whip! Holliday lands in the corner. Jrygin comes charging before he leaps for his Stinger Splash! Last second Holliday finds himself slipping out of the ring through the ropes, landing both feet on the apron! Jon Jrygin crashes and burns! Shane Holliday grabs ahold of Jon Jrygin and pulls him down into the ropes with a Stungun before he climbs into the ring to track down the stumbling Jrygin!

Shane, in the ring behind Jrygin, pulls him down with a School Boy pinfall attempt!

ONE!
TWO-
KICKOUT!!!

Jrygin and Shane manage to pop up at the same pace to a deafening roar from the fans in attendance. Once more, the two combatants lock up in the center of the ring, each man looking to get the better of his opponent. Shane tosses Jon hard into the ropes, with Jon rebounding off of the ropes with some heavy momentum behind him. As Jon approaches, Shane drops his shoulders for a Back Body Drop, but the champion sees it coming a mile away and sends a hard Soccer Kick into the chest area of The Los Angeles Adonis. Jon quickly grabs ahold of Shane and sends him down onto the mat in a sitting position with a second Soccer Kick into his spine. Shane winces and rolls his way out of the ring, remaining on the apron. As Shane pulls himself up, he’s met by a roaring Elbow Smash across the temple from Jon, who had now changed his expression to pure determination, the looks of a killer. The shot spins Shane around one hundred and eighty degrees, so he was now facing out to the crowd. Jon sees his opening, and using the leverage of the ropes, as well as his own hip, he flips Shane over the ropes, catching him, and planting him flat with a lethal Devil On Your Shoulder!! The crowd roars in excitement! Jon drops onto Shane and hooks a leg, bobbing his head alongside the count of the referee!!

ONE!
TWO!!
THRE--
KICKOUT!!!

UNBELIEVABLE!!

The crowd continues to roar it’s deafening cheer for the two men. Jon rises to his feet and backs up into the corner, both hands raise up to his hairline. He takes a deep breath before closing his eyes. Meanwhile, the challenger for the NIKE PRO World’s Championship, was slowly managing to pull himself to his fee-- DREAMKILLER!! DREAMKILLER!! Jon had driven his boot into the back of Shane’s skull, and in turn, absolutely PLANTED his face into the mat of the ring! The crowd goes quiet from their previously loud state. Jon crawls, no, slithers atop of Shane Holliday, placing one hand on his chest as he goes for the pin!!

DING! DING! DING!

LUIS RAFFERTY : “Ladies and gentlemen, the official in charge of this contest has called this fight at the twenty minutes and thirty-one seconds mark… Here is your winner by way of pinfall and STILL the NIKE PRO WORLD’S CHAMPION... JJOOONNNN... JJJRRRYYYGGIIINNN!

That was all she wrote! Jon’s theme picks up over the P.A. system, booming around the arena. As the ref hits the final beat of the 3 count, Jon rolls over and stares up into the lights of the arena, breathing heavily following his hellacious combat against Holliday. As Shane is helped to the back, Jon rises to his knees as he’s handed his coveted NIKE PRO World’s Championship. He looks into the championship for a moment, before rising to his feet with his championship risen high in the air, victorious and proud. Jon climbs up the turnbuckle facing the stage and takes in the moment, the fans showing their appreciation for the Combat they just witnessed. A song began to play over the loudspeakers in the arena, and Jon immediately turned to the stage, recognising it wasn’t his theme music. The tron turned on as a hooded figure exitted a room into a hallway backstage and began walking towards the arena entrance. The lights dimmed as the person made his way past each one before the tron shut off. The music in the arena kicked into an instrumental song as the arena lights shut off, leaving only a spotlight pointed to the center of the stage showing the hooded figure now inside the arena. Jon stepped down from the turnbuckle and watched as the figure slowly made his way down the ramp. As he made his way to the ring steps, he looked up into the ring and Jon noticed his former Heart of Wrestling opponent, James Parker. James walked up the steps onto the ring apron and entered the ring. He stepped forward towards Jon, showing a refusal to look him in the eyes, instead his gaze was concentrated on the NIKE PRO World’s Championship in Jon’s hand. The show fades to black with both men standing toe to toe, tensions high, ready to go to war.
